CAD Extrude
Cad Extrude for Blender 4.0 and higher:
This addon performs the extrusion functionality as it is used in professional CAD programs. Allows you to create through holes and quickly edit the geometry.
Instruction manual:
1. Install the addon
2. Assign the desired hotkey in the KeyMap tab
3. Select the object to edit in the scene
4. Apply rotation and Scale transformations Ctrl+A
5. Switch to Tab editing mode
6. Select one or more polygons (the normal is taken from the active polygon)
7. Launch the CAD Extrude addon using a hotkey "CTRL+Q" or command in the console - CAD Extrude
8. Move the mouse to move the pointer arrows - Empty
9. The pointing arrows indicate to what depth the extrusion will be created.
10. If the arrows pass through the object, an end-to-end extrusion will be created.
11. To change the sensitivity-smoothness of the Empty movement, use the rotation of the mouse wheel.
12. Pressing the Q key during CAD Extrude startup resets the sensitivity settings to the default.
12. To invert the visualization of the displacement of the Empty vector, right-click.
13. To apply the Addon, left-click.
PS: The recommended number of polygons is less than 20000.

Hotkeys:
Ctrl+Q - run addon
Q - default sensitivity
Rotation of the mouse wheel - change sensitivity
Right-click - invers Empty vector
Left-click - apply
